Our Story
Arbor Eco Development Co was founded on a simple conviction: that the Caribbean's most extraordinary land deserves development that matches its quality — and that doing it right requires financial discipline, operational experience, and genuine values.
The Founder
"I have spent 25 years at the intersection of finance, operations and technology. Arbor is what happens when you apply that discipline to a place you believe in."— Paul Pierre, Founder
Paul Pierre brings over 25 years of leadership across finance and operations to Arbor Eco Development. His background spans General Manager at Axis Technologies, Finance and Operations roles at Gillette Group, and financial consultancy at WIIT LTD. His core disciplines — financial modelling, institutional financing, strategic planning, and team leadership — are the foundation of Arbor's approach to every project.
Arbor Eco Development was born from a recognition that Trinidad & Tobago and the wider Caribbean sit on extraordinary land assets that remain largely undeveloped — not for lack of interest, but for lack of the right structures, relationships, and expertise to bring investors and owners together. Paul saw that gap and built a company specifically designed to fill it.
Arbor changes that equation. By combining financial rigour with a genuine commitment to sustainable, ecology-conscious development, the company positions itself as the partner of choice for both global investors seeking Caribbean exposure and local landowners ready to unlock the potential of their assets.
The Architect
"Great buildings begin with great questions — about the land, the people, and the legacy a place is meant to carry."— Timothy Newton, Architect & Strategic Development Partner
Timothy Newton is Arbor's architect and strategic development partner, playing a central role in shaping projects that integrate sustainable design, land stewardship, and long-term value creation.
With a strong focus on nature-based and wellness-centred environments, Timothy approaches each project as an opportunity to unlock the full potential of land — balancing ecological sensitivity with thoughtful, market-aware development. His work is grounded in a deep understanding of site, culture, and environmental systems, ensuring every intervention enhances both the natural landscape and the human experience.
He leads Arbor's architectural vision, master planning, and design execution — working closely with stakeholders to translate ideas into viable, investment-ready developments. His practice draws on biophilic design principles, phased development strategies, and sustainable construction methodologies, aligned with the broader global shift toward responsible and regenerative development.
The result: projects that are visually compelling, economically grounded, environmentally responsive, and enduring in impact — places that foster connection, well-being, and legacy.
The Strategic Lead
"Build the right structures, enter the right markets, and execute with discipline."— Ian Logie, Strategic & Commercial Lead
Ian Logie brings more than twenty years of experience in strategic planning, brand development, and operational management to Arbor's leadership team — with a strong track record of building the systems and structures that allow development businesses to scale.
His career has spanned senior operational roles across large development groups and commercial enterprises, where his focus has consistently been on building efficient, modern organisations and identifying the market opportunities that translate into sustained growth. He holds an International Trade Specialist (ITS) designation with Honours — a credential that sharpens his ability to navigate complex cross-border commercial environments.
At Arbor, Ian's expertise shapes the business development, market positioning, and operational frameworks that underpin the company's expansion — ensuring that the quality of what Arbor builds is matched by the quality of how it operates.
His approach is direct and evidence-driven: build the right structures, enter the right markets, and execute with discipline.
Financial Oversight & Governance
"Sound governance and rigorous financial oversight are not constraints on growth — they are the foundation it stands on."— Nicole Lalsingh, FCCA, B.A.S., Financial Oversight & Governance Director
Nicole Lalsingh is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant with over 25 years of audit, advisory, and taxation experience across Trinidad's private and commercial sectors.
Trained at PricewaterhouseCoopers (Trinidad), Nicole qualified as a chartered accountant in 2000 and subsequently earned a Diploma in Governance & Public Innovation from the Latin American Development Bank. She is the Principal of Nicole Gia Lalsingh & Co., a mid-sized accounting practice serving a diversified client base spanning retail, distribution, construction, and insurance.
Her engagement with Ardor Eco Development brings institutional-grade financial oversight to the company's deal architecture — ensuring that capital structures, project financials, and governance frameworks meet the standards expected by international investors and development finance partners.
Our Principles
We structure deals that work for all parties — landowners, investors, and the communities where we build. A deal that only works for Arbor is not a deal we will make.
Financial rigour at every stage, from deal sourcing to delivery. We apply institutional-grade modelling, reporting, and governance to every project regardless of size.
We measure success in two currencies: economic returns and ecological outcomes. A project that delivers returns but destroys value for the environment or community is not a success.
Whether you are an investor, a landowner, or simply curious about what we are building — we would love to hear from you.
